Which Solano dryer is best for thick, coarse hair?

Our on staff stylists highly recommend the superSolano™ 3700moda for styling thick coarse hair. The superSolano™ 3700moda has the fastest wind power of all our Solano dryers.

Which Solano dryer is best for fine hair?

Our on staff stylists recommend the iconic superSolano™ for drying fine hair because it is not ionic (which can sometimes weigh fine hair down). The superSolano™ has always been one of our most popular dryers with industry professionals.

How do I maintain the condition of the cord on my Solano appliance?

When your appliance has cooled, fold the cord in the same way it was in the original packaging. Try to avoid winding it around your hand or the body of the appliance. Please refer to the Care & Maintenance guide on the product’s detail page for more information.

How do I clean my Solano dryer filter?

Air flow can get reduced by a clogged, dirty filter and will create undue strain on your dryer motor, reducing performance and the life of the product. Keeping your dryer filter clean will ensure it is working at optimal performance and will extend the overall life of your motor.
Cleaning Instructions:
Your dryer will have either a stationary or removable filter system. The filter ring and screen allows you to keep your appliance free from entrapped hairs and dust. A quarter turn to the left disconnects the removable filter ring and screen from the dryer. Remove the filter screen and gently clean it with a brush. Replace the filter ring and screen by turning to the right. Remember to clean your filter regularly.

How do I clean the plates on my Solano flat iron?

The ceramic plates of your Solano flat iron must remain clear of product build up to continue performing at the optimal level.
Cleaning Instructions:
When your flat iron has cooled, wipe the plates of the iron with a damp, clean cloth to remove any excess product that may have built up while styling.

Can I use my Solano appliance outside of the United States?

Yes, all Solano products will work outside of the United States with the use of a travel converter.

Are all Solano diffusers universal?

The Solano diffuser works only with Solano and superSolano™ professional dryers. The universal diffuser will also work with most professional dryers on the market including Solano and supersolano™ as well.

Are all Solano concentrators universal?

Unfortunately no, all Solano concentrators are specific to the Solano dryer it comes with.

How do I register for my Solano care & repair warranty?

There are three convenient ways to register your product for the Solano care & repair warranty.
1. You can register your Solano dryer or flat iron by visiting the product registration page within 30 days of purchasing.
2. You may mail in your original receipt and warranty card that was enclosed with your dryer/flat iron when purchased.
3. Or download a PDF of the Warranty Card on the warranty page along with your original receipt and mail to Solano Repair Center - 4475 South Fulton Parkway Building 5 - Union City Atlanta, Georgia 30349.

My Solano appliance is not working, how I do send it in for repair?

For repair, product should be sent postage paid with a $30.00 check or money order payable to Solano International (unless your product is under warranty). Please include a brief written description of your problem and mail to: Solano Repair Center 4475 South Fulton Parkway Building 5 - Union City Atlanta, Georgia 30349, Customer Service: 1.800.323.3942. Does the care & repair warranty cover all Solano products?

The best-in-class Solano 2-year limited care & repair warranty covers all Solano professional dryers and flat irons that have been purchased after January 1, 2009. However, if your product was purchased before January 1, 2009, and in need of repair, please send a $30 check or money order payable to Solano International, a brief description of the problem, the return address and phone number to Solano International 4475 South Fulton Pkwy Bldg, 5 Union City Atlanta, GA 30349. How long is my Solano guaranteed for?

For 2 years from the Date of Purchase, we warrant that your Solano professional product is in good working condition and free from defects in materials and workmanship. Our Two-Year Limited Warranty covers free replacement of defective parts, including any labor charges that may be associated. By contacting Solano you may renew your Care & Repair Warranty every two years indefinitely.

How long will I be without my Solano if I send it in for a repair?

Solano understands how important your tools are to your business, therefore we guarantee all Solano products are repaired and return shipped within two business days of receipt.

Are there any exclusions to the Solano care & repair warranty?

Yes, the Solano care & repair warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power cord or plug or excessive hair in the dryer. Damage due to misuse and abuse such as wrong voltage supply, dropping or neglect in safety precautions or foreign objects inside dryer are also not covered. Tampering such as repair or attempted repair by an unauthorized party does not qualify for warranty protection. In addition, we disclaim any responsibility for damage caused to property or persons, including any incidental or consequential damages as the result of an unauthorized repair.

Do you have parts available for purchase for my Solano appliance?

Solano offers dryer integrated filter rings, screens, concentrators, rear covers and rear screws for sale via Customer Service. Contact a Solano Customer Service Representative at SolanoSales@solanointernational.com or call 1-800-323-3942 for pricing and order placement.

How much will it cost to repair my Solano if something should happen to it?

Will I have to pay for my Solano to be returned to me once it’s repaired?
